Before I start searching I would like to make sure that I am not looking into something that is "covered ground."

Not a big poster here (or anywhere for that matter) but I'm working out ways to keep the stock (or upgraded) twins on an RB26/S-14 conversion.

Has anyone researched using alternate steering racks that could possibly move the linkage closer to the driverside "frame rail" if you will....

If no one has researched this I will, but like I said, I would prefer not to try and reinvent the wheel if someone has aready looked into this. If a different rack is not an option I will be fabricating either an offset gearing or multi linked unit to overcome this common obsticle for the 26-ers out there.

TIA,David

One of our customers used our RB25 mount kit with his RB26 motor and the motor went right in with the Two turbos. Everything clears, no hitting of the stock steering system. This is into a S14.
