Hey poeple. 93 sx coupe. KA

Might need to cahnge some hoses in the near future, and wondering about alternate ways of getting the air out of the cooling system besides the burp screw near the upper rad hose... seems mine has become somewhat permanently affixed because it snapped in the hole the last time i flushed it, and had to use goop to keep it from leaking air... any ideas?

Should the air eventually come out through the rad cap hose?

Any thoughts/ideas are most appreciated!!!!

Steve

Starting with a cool motor, turn it on with the radiator cap open. You should have already filled it up with coolant as much as you can up to this point. When you see the level drop, add more fluid. You will notice some bubbles for a while and the level drop. As it starts to slow down, you can kind of push down on the core support to bounce the car up and down a bit. This can take some time, but you should be able to get most of the air out.

Easy and effective.
