Altenator replacement

Well I just tried to start my car and found out that the altenator is out, can anyone tell me the stepps on replacing it?

i forget exactly how but i know i did it from underneath. make sure you place a wooden board on the jack contact or youll bend the crossmember.

what i stupid place for an alternator
