Alt question z24 to kae

I have an alt for a napz24 and It definately fits the KA24e except that the alt has these fan blades behind the pulley that hit the bracket. Can I just take it off and put back the pulley and be fine?

Those blades cool the alt. can you modify bracket so they do not hit?

I would do that rather than remove cooling blades. ALT will last longer if cooled. Good luck hope it all works out.

my other alt might not have cooling fins and maybe that will fit the KA
