Alt. fuses???

What would be a reson why i keep blowing the alternator fuse on my 240sx?:help

The reason that you are blowing your fuse is because something is drawing too much current. Most of the time this is due to degrading parts, or more often a short. How quickly does the fuse blow? How often? Does the fuse blow under normal load (no accesorries running)? Does the fuse blow when there is a heavy load on the engine? These are all things to consider. I would recommend that you check to make sure that the altenator is charging your battery, maybe even have the altenator bench tested at your local re-wind shop.

well i blows one like everyday but i went and cleaned all my grounds real good and unhooked a water temp gague, and now its been twodays and it has not blown yet. so i think i might have fixed it. i will get back to you in a coupel of weeks if its still runningthanks
