alt fuse. goes pop

the bat wire on my alternator came off the other day and the screw it was on is stripped so i took apart the alt. and put in a new bolt. when i put it all back togeather the alt. fuse popped. i checked for any shorts and i can't find anything. evertime i put a new fuse on it i get a blue spark and a blown fuse. the plastic washer for the bat wire is the only thing i can think of but it's fine. i put the volt testor on the two terminals where the fuse should be and i'm getting 11.9 volts. i did the same thing on my buddys 240 and he has 10. something and no blue spark.

i don't just wanna keep trying new fuses b/c there 15$ a pop at nissan and i can't find them anywhere else.thanks for any help you can give~ben
