91 is just fine. Don't go and get 93 because it has no purpose in your car. All you need is 91, not like it;s gonna make your engine run better or somthing.

^ lol what??? Higher octane does nothing for a turbo car that's set up for it? DO NOTspeak on things that you know nothing about.

You will be ok with 91, but on a TT higher octane is a plus, especially if you've got some mods and have upped the boost

Opps lol, I was assuming he had a N/A but I saw where it said boost up there. Yeah, my mistake, but on an N/A the same principle wouldn'tmatter I assume?

Well i guess I wasted all that money on C16 for nothing then.

lol. NA or turbo, you toss in some 117 octane c16, a piggy-back ecu, cooler plugs and you'll run a faster quarter mile guaranteed.

octane rating is just the burn speed higher octane burns slower so less spark knock if you are not knocking on a lower octane then adding a higher octane will do nothing now if you you up your boost and your timming and you start to knock then a higher octane will help you out i don't know if any of y9ou have had alot to dyno experance but on a stock car running 101 or c16 will make you loose hp because of the slower burn unless your timming is set up with a higher advance so it reaches full burn at the correct time anything 90-94 is perfect for a z car up to 300 whp althing else your knocking your power down

Just to add a little something I learned in my Materials in Industry class:

87 octane creates 105,000 BTU's/gallon89 octane creates 110,200 BTU's/gallon92 octane creates 115,000 BTU's/gallonDiesel creates 140,000 BTU's/gallon
