Ok, I need to get some directions here from you guys.

As a few of your may know I've been in the works of starting my own gig as a Nissan/Infiniti/Datsun specialty shop. Well now's the final week of waiting. We have a 4,000 sq. ft. location sitting with our name on it and tomorrow we are moving in for good.

So, without further rambling, I need to get some feedback:

Product Lines:

- What sort of name's you guys looking for? Tein, Eibach, JIC, etc? - Any companies we should carry? (Wheels, Suspension, and Brake specific please) - Group Buys?

Anything in particular you are looking for to be produced? Two of the big admins know the year goal the shop has, but I'll save it till it's running. It might just coincide with another goodie I know thats coming out :thinker

Either way shoot me some emails with some ideas: [email protected]

Ooooh, in Austin! Can't wait to visit. Tokico shocks, Volk Nismo wheels, Stillen or Brembo rotors or upgrades.

A good shop would probably be most useful in that market.

I agree..... Tokico blues, have access to all of our suspension rubber (t-rods, upper links, bushings, etc).. maybe some of the stillen stuff, like the adjustable upper links and tension rods... IF you guys could do ECU reprograms for us around $100-$150, that would be good too... Maybe some tires too, we could hand pick some product lines on those for you and certain sized for different rims....

You might also consider getting katzkin leather to make a kit for the Q45 and J30...

Carry some good solid rims too, stuff like what tirerack has (that are guarnteed to fit and exceed OEM quality..)

Get us a supercharger for the Q...! Or a turbo, then I could put Q45tt on the back.. hows that for subtle!!!

A good 4.08 rear end rebuilt at less than Stillen cost.polyurethane bushings for Q/J/M/G.Maybe make a deal with "aaacomp" NICO memebr to sell his upgraded ECU's, they are a good deal and seem to work.

Have the ability to perform proper plenum cleaning.

We'll think of more.

I 2nd fred on the urethane bushings, most Js could use new ones, i know mine does, and i would definitley go for an upgrade.

I am sure many would appreciate 5sp conversion kits for the Q and J series if you felt like piecing them together...

a mandrel-bent dual exhaust would be nice as well...

if i have time this semester, i might run some CFD after I make some measurements on the VG, we could really tune the hell out of the intake and especially the exhaust...

Yeah, those would be good too... I wouldnt expect stuff like a 5sp transmission for a while, since this is a fairly new thing....

Urethane bushings shouldnt be hard to come by, as i think the Z's suspension stuff is the same as the Q and J....

I forgot to add... A bolt on rear muffler that gives the Q or J a bit more rumble and better sound.... Kinda like what the Y33 Q has from stillen.... Something for us cheap DIYers!!!

I wouldnt be looking for any HP gains, just different sound....

Upgrades to the Q/J brakes, at less than the cost of the Brembos Stillen sells, or used to anyway. Actually, whole cars now cost less than Brembos......

how similar are the front brakes of the J and Q?

i had my wheels off yesterday and noticed the J has vented rear disks. i like that, does the Q share those?

Unfortunately the rears on the G50 are solid, but not a source of problems in normal use. It seems the J rear rotors and calipers could be fitted with little trouble, but I know of no one who has done it.

FY33, Y34 and F50 all have vented rear rotors.__________________Brian1995 Q45 & Q45t & 2000 Q45

Katy? Well at least rent will be affordable. I think there are 3 or 4 Infiniti dealers in the area. At least one is bound to be decent.__________________Brian1995 Q45 & Q45t & 2000 Q45
