I have two cars to take care of: '01 Honda Odyssey which is white, and a '01 Porsche Boxster which is grey.

The paint on the Honda is really s***, coupled with s*** driving means that there are quite a few scratches on the bumper. The scratches are pretty bad :( There also few marks and scratches on the trunk and behind the wheels on the body. I don't know how possible it would be to repair this, but I don't think we are going to try. Aside from that, the paint is decent, not real good paint, but its not matte or anything...

The paint on the Porsche is excellent. High gloss, only two scratches, not significant at all. I don't really think that info is important but...

I'm looking for a good polish that will make it easy to clean the car, and will keep a gloss for at least 6 months. I really just want a finish that will look pretty good for a long time, and will make it easy to wipe off the dirt with a cloth and some water.

I know AZHitman has had good experience with Zaino. I also know that you made some good posts about how you apply it and what products of theirs you use. I can't dig up that post at the moment, maybe you can give it a try...

Is there anything else that I could try? I want a proven product, I don't want to spend 10 hours working on the two cars and then have it end up be not worth it.

Finally, whats a good product for the dash? and what should I use on the leather? Both cars have leather, the Porsche leather is perforated, while the Honda is not.

-Thanks :)

Check out our sponsor "5starshine." They are supposed to have stuff equivelent of Zaino. There have been a few members here that have used it with very good results. RYDwhite uses it on his G35c and likes it I think. I would give that stuff a try.

If not, Meguiars high gloss carnuba wax is the shiz. I use it on my 240 and it stays glossy and keeps its "bead-ability" for a long time.

I've liked Mothers for the shine, but I found it didn't seem to last very long. That Nu-Finish stuff (orange bottle) has seemed to last longest for me of the ones I've tried. I'm not familiar with Zaino or 5starshine. I have to try 'em out.

everything posted here is crap, if you are serious, and i mean serious serious then you want a brand called furcela (or furelca)

this is what they use at professional detailing shops to wax/polish etc. when you get their "gold" or really expensive package

mind you it isn't easy to find, you won't find it at a auto store, you have to get it from a supplier, won't be cheap either, expect to pay between $60-$80 for a 1 litre bottle

stuff is absolutely amazing though

Do you use it personally? How long does it usually last?
