Alright, quick one..

I want a cattman Y-pipe for my 97 max, but the exhaust system has never been touched prior..it's got almost 90k miles on it, and the exhaust system looks a little rusted/beat up from when I saw it on the lift. Basically, is the Y-pipe going to put too much strain on a beat up exhaust system? Am i going to have to redo the whole thing or what?

It should be alright, since a Y-pipe (if properly installed) will not add any additional strain than stock. However, if the piping is done, you may consider upgrading now, to make it easier on yourself in the future.
