A month or so ago, Vicki started a thread requesting vegetarian recipes. I jumped in and made a joke about vegetarians. She took offense, I took offense that she took offense at a joke, etc etc etc blah blah blah.

I was told to f--- off, so I called it good, figured the issue was resolved and moved on, but apparently, for some reason, there is lingering animosity.

So for the sake of the NICO community, and to keep this divisive, silly bickering to a minimum, I'm going to apologize to Vicki and especially Anand (with whom I argued about religion).

Note that I am NOT sorry for what I said; I stand by my beliefs and I meant every single word, except the joke of course. I am however sorry about HOW I said it. I could have made my point in a more sensitive manner.

So, this issue is resolved. I'm going to Sears now to buy some quality American-made tools.
