Alright folks.. I have been here for a while now.. I get alot of good information from NICO.. Love it.

Now I need some help!

I have an 2003 I35 in which I have installed Jim Wolfe S2 cams, full exhaust from Cattman performance to include headers, Y-pipe, fast cat and cat back, I have also put the Jim Wolfe intake and cone filter which I also came Cattman.

Now I am having issues and need a way to program my computer.. basicly reflash it to a more aggressive fuel/timing map. I am used to working with the EVO.M computer programming because of a friends car that I work on. I can't seem to find anything close to that for the I35. I figured if I got one that worked for the G35/350Z that it would work with the I35 being the same engine and all.. I start running way lean around 5600 to 6800 and when it shifts the transmission of course shifts slow being its still got the stock flash and all.

Any ideas or advice is greatly needed.. I want to get the full potiential out of it. The engine has roughly 50k miles on it and by talking to Brian Catts, we think it should be around 300hp crank. So I want to make sure its right before I get it on a dyno.

Thanks..

Lee

If not mistaken, you could not use programming for a G/Z because they do NOT have the same engine. They both may have VQ35's but ones FWD and the other is RWD, hence different equipment for each. Try to find something for a 2002-2003 Maxima. And I highly doubt you are getting 300 crank, from cams and full exhaust and intake. Im gonna say no more than 275, if that

edit: so a guy on another site, has a everything you have and a tune and put down 291fwhp

TigerShark.. where in Nashville are you? Man it would be nice to find some folks around here that know about these cars.. PM me or something. I can give you my number so we can see what's going on around here.. I am not to far from Nashville. I work in Tullahoma.

The Z and G ecu won't work mainly because the key verification is external and communicates through can bus to the ecu, as opposed to being on board like the max and i35 ecu's. I know that Technosquare will do something if you beg and plead, but will tell you that they don't right off the bat for autos. Most of your gains would be from just adjusting the a/f ratio a little leaner as they tend to go really rich with exhaust mods.

I was hoping that I could get the flash for the G35 engine alone. I know the G's have a more agressive tune than our cars. Would I not be able to just get my ECU flashed for the G engine fuel/timing map? I had heard you could do that.
