I'm just reposting this from the 240sx Tech Forum:

Man I'm FU{KEN PISSED~! I just got done with my clutch swap and guess what I did? I did the clutch fork ALL WRONG, and this is the SECOND TIME I've done this~!!!!! $HIT~!!!!!Man, if anyone can tell me how the damn thing is supposed to be, please do so. This is so frustrating....

So far, this is my current setup for the clutch fork:The clutch forkthe clip on the clutch fork that has the notch at the topthe throwout bearing carrierthe clip for the TO bearing carrierthe TO Bearing

Now, is the clip for the TO bearing carrier supposed to have the open side away from the fork??? And is it supposed to be snagged with the notch from the fork's clip????? How the hell is it supposed to be again? I keep doing this damn part wrong, maybe someone should include it in the write-ups.....

Ohhh and also, where's the EGR Valve located? Is it right next to the intake manifold???

the egr is located at the rear of the intake manifold. the clip ends should slide in the fork valleys. the pivot spring should snap over the pivot and fit in the 3 slots in the fork. one hooks in the y slot the other 2 rest in the slots at either side of fork near the dust boot.

Hey Nistech, how hard is it to replace the EGR Valve??? Would I have to take off part of the intake manifold??? Or would I be able to replace it without touching anything else but the valve itself????

i think that more depends on the tools you have available to you. basic hand tools wont do it alone.

universal semi deep 12mm socket. I have only seen these on the snap-on ,mac and matco tool trucks. and a very very short wrench for the egr tube from the exhaust manifold. its about 1 1/16 inch

If your going to change the egr don't forget to clean the egr ports in the intake manifold. A parcely or fully clogged egr port will cause a misfire on cruise or accel.
