alright i have another ? for all of u !!! what should i do

alright i have a 1993 nissan 240sx se my motor locked up .. but here is my ? my timing chain broke and lock up the motor and one of my valves was lockd up then i checked my oil and for some reason it was dry.. so should i just reuild the top and take a chance or should i pull the motor and have it all rebuild .. or should i just swap it for my 96 sx motor liked i asked befor ... i would like to sup up the motor somday so im just womdering would it it be best for me to get a rebuild kit and have it dun or what some help and advice would be greatlly appreciated

i need to know what my best option is .....thanks all

self explanatory if motor is locked find culprit and fix ; if valve is bent replace , while head and chain are off if motor is still locked then rebuild or replace. Sounds like from lack of oil that the bottom end is siezed. Good luck

I would look hard into finding a decent used motor.

It really depends on what you expect out of your engine. If you plan to just drive the car with some occasionally spirited runs here and there and the occasionally trip down the strip, snatch up a used engine and call it a day.

If you plan to beat the living tar out of your car, build your engine. Then you'll know exactly what condition it's in.
