Where is it exactly? The manual states it is in the center console if so equipped. Well, I have a fully loaded SL model so I would think mine would be equipped with one. But when I open the center console, all I see is empty space. I have my GPS plugged into the main power outlet under the A/C controls and I want my kids' backseat DVD player plugged into the second power outlet but I have yet to locate it. Any help?

Well it is at the VERY bottom of that deep cavernous center console. If you quickly glance in there you might miss it because it's got that black plastic plug which is the same color as the rest of the box plastic. But if you're looking for it, you can't miss it.....

If you have the tray installed in your centre console, be sure you remove that first.

I'll look for it when I go out to my car in a bit but I don't remember a tray being in there. Just a deep box shape. Hopefully I'll find it because I don't remember seeing it when I looked down in there before. Weird.

the tray IS a deep box shape and when you remove it the console is a deeper box shape with a power outlet in the bottom.

Just to update - yup, the tray is the deep gray box shaped insert. I pulled that out and voila - the power oulet is there. Kinda tricky if you don't know to pull out that insert. Anyways, thanks for the help everyone.

Just a question about that: For the owners of a SL basic FWD Rogue, do you have this insert box in your car, is it a standard item?

I don't have one and since my saleperson was an informed one, I don't know.

If I should have one, does it bring you some convenience or can I live without one? What area the advantages of it? inconvenients?

Thanks.

The 'organizer tray' for the centre console is part of the Premium Package in Canada. Basic SL models withough the premium pack does not have it.

The tray helps to organize things as I find the storage area is very deep and I have to remove everything to find small items.

The tray can be purchased seperately from your dealer. It's about $20.

Thanks Philip.

I will have a look at it next time I go to a dealer. For now, I throw everything in it and do not bother.

Next time I clean it, I will try to make some echo with it, it is so deep, deeep, deeeep,...

I went to Staples today and bought some organizers to divide my organizer tray up to make it more usable. It was driving me crazy. The dodad I bought makes it into 2 sides and a pencil cup. Exactly what I needed!
