Ok guys, ive done basic painting and i got it down. Now... this house of kolor candy stuff... what all does it involve? I know you have to spray a base coat color, then the candy color, then some clear coat but how hard is it for a novice painter and do you need a special spray gun or will a normal spray gun work? Some one please direct to a site or just share your knowlege...

Whats going on in peachtree? fireworks? probly not caus i have a friend who has enough fireworks to put on a bigger show 
i have an uncle who is really big into foreign car body work but i just wanted to hear from the diy'ers how hard it is to get the coat to look like its smooth and flows because this is a hard paint to use.

Well its $530 for all the paint i need to do what I want... this is for anyone with experience with candy paint. I want to spray the whole car jet black (its already black so we are respraying). Then im going to put 1-2 light coats of the candy cobalt blue, then several thick layers of clear coat. Im hoping the finish effect is an entire car either black or dark blue that has blue flashs and reflections in the sunlight. Anyone that knows anything about this please share!!
