my friend just swapped a redtop into his hatch back. stock ecu, big fmic, maybe a down pipe. car starts and idles but when he revs it past 6k the engine either dies or drops to 1k ish and hunts. any ideas?

Run the ECU for codes.

will the sr20 ecu throw the same codes as a USDM ecu?
