alpine r vs. pioneer champion series pro w2501..help

i know the alpine r is a great sub but based on the specs the pioneer is great with better power handling than the r. anyone know anything about it?

I prefer the Alpine. I have had a few of the older model type R's and they where amazing. I have never had the pioneer champion series, but I trust Alpine alot more. I plan on getting the Type X's soon. All the reviews I have red on the pioneer are kind of mixed fealings.

thanks i appreciate the help. thats what i went with, i ordered the 2 r 10's. I wanted some X's but it was hard finding a box for two that fits in the coupe and i didnt wanna go through the hassle of making one
