Alpine Ipod interface issues...

almost everytime i hook up my ipod to my Z through the adapter,i get an error01 on my Alpine IVA-W200 screen and the ipod showsit's main menu. i can unplug it and plug it back in a bunch of times andfinally it will play for longer than like 15 seconds. has anyone else experienced this?? any help is appreciated

is your ipod adapter the factory alpine cable that connects to the rear of the head unit? if so take it back to the shop because that is the best connection you can have for your deck and something is definately wrong.

are you turning off your ipod after u turn off the car?, it could just be over-heating. i have a kenwood screen in my z, and it will freeze because sometimes i forget to turn off the ipod.
