got back to the track tonight. my goal is to get kicked out for running under 11.5 without a roll bar. i got 6 runs in 5 in the 11's. the first one my clutch was slipping so bad from boosting most of the way there to get rid of my pump gas, once the car cooled down it was holding fine.

best run was:

1.991 60'1/4mi et 11.586mph 128.71

my other runns were 3 -11.8's and 2 11.6's all in the 121-122mph area

had one 1.87 60' being my best, i really need to get my launches down and run some 11 flats

i just need to replace my old *** plugs and rotor, spark was breaking up slightly

on the way home got to destory a worked ls1 z28, cool kid tho it seemed as we were yelling back and forth at 70+mph

Nice numbers. What kinda tires are you running at the track?

Is PintoTech.com your new endeavor? GEO mentioned yall are working on a supercharger kit.

differencial is fine, if anything i have too much traction. oncei get dropping the clutch right ill be good

i run bfg drag radials 235/60/15 on 15x8 welds. the welds help alot to keep the most thread on the ground. i had them on 6" wide rims before which made the tire buldge and loose alot of the contact patch

yes its just a little side thing im doing to slowly build up. SC kit will be started in a few months

structure, fix that 60' and you should see low 11's, those trap speeds make me think that you can, so long as you fix the launching:).

what boost were ya running at that moment? 27psi?

yup 27psi, spark was breaking up very slightly from old plugs and rotor. just ordered new 8 heat range iridiums and already have a new rotor

on the way home an ls1 camaro with 315's on the back tried to mess with me. i turned the boost down a lil to stay away from the spark breakup a little more. safe to say from the 60mph roll he was done

so what kind of super charger are you guys planning to use? a roots type or a centrifugal?

centrifugal would be the easiest to use, very common around my uncles shop. some of them have compressor inlets the size of that turbo i sent you.

this is still a few months away before it gets started
