i was driving along my normal rout to get some lunch. i turn onto a street that is in the process of bing paved so all of the sewer plates are raised. i avoid as many as i can but one of them managed to go under the car. as the plate is under the car i hit a pot hole which drops my car onto the plate and crushes what i believe to be and under body stabilizer. the chassis itself was slightly dented. and recommendations as far as where i can order this part or buy an after market one. Thanks

Darn! Sorry to hear this.

Also, talk to the city folks ... since this was caused by street damage, many of the the cities have funds to pay for damages they cause to cars due to bad road conditions. Typically, they fix windshields busted by hitting pot holes pretty readily, but this also seems to be an easy call in your case - the road was not finished and the pot hole was a direct cause of problems.
