i love my y34, but my wife was conserned about the mileage and thought i should sell and get a new car. well to make along story short, there's to many things i love about my car to lose! unique style for one, and i just love that every car show that i've been to this summer on long island, i don't see any! i feel realy good about my m and i decided to keep my baby and by another car to use for work and use her on the weekends. looks like she's gonna be with me forever!

Good choice, and a close call! I'm sure we have all had thoughts about possibly moving on from the Y34's...but then we recall how many were imported to the US, the looks we get when it's clean (in my case, because it's black, and when it's clean, it looks like a mirror!), and it's unique performance / cost to maintain...it just makes sense to keep it around for a while. I can already tell that this is one of those cars that won't disappoint you in the long run. It has all of the luxury for it's day, and it can give a damn good run for the money on most anything at any given intersection on any given day.

I remember my Father telling me when I was growing up about the cars he missed the most...his Cyclone for example...a car with the most unique styling, and the most gas-guzzling engine ever produced...but imagine that car being in his garage today....It would be an instant classic - worth at least 10 times what he bought it for if he would have kept it back in the early '70's instead of trading it in for that fuel efficient Mustang II. ...Sigh...
