New to this site and recently spoke w/ my mechanic about some ideas for getting my Z just like I want it....his remedy was forums....which could be really informative because of the enthusiasts out there....Hopefully some lifelong friendships will be built as well....looking forward to learning more about this mean machine!!!!!!

Welcome to NICO

What are you wanting to do with the Z and what kind of budget? :)

Hey what's going on Audtatious....

I guess I could go on and on w/ my wish list...but first things first....gotta get thru this divorce then I can really start to focus on getting down to business....I think I'll go w/ cold air induction and still trying to research where I'll get more bang for my buck, either a cat back system or removing the cat altogether....as for wheels...I got my eyes on some 19'' BBS wheels (RS-GT's) and will probably decide on some michelin's or bridgestone's...I'm very green when it comes to mods to cars, because my motto has always been...keep gas in it...keep oil changed and go lol....So with this one...I'll definitely be taking my time on what will be done. How long have u been a Nissan/Infiniti owner?

Oh damn I forgot the braking system....definitely want to go w/ an upgraded system, but the $$$'s are like WOW....but as I said earlier...I trust my mechanics judgment and if he recommends I tend to go that way....

Nice looking wheel choice. Pay attention to offset when you get some. For CAI I like the R2C, which I have, or the Stillen Gen III. From a braking perspective you can look into getting a Infiniti Akebono brake setup. Depends on what you want to spend tho.

My first Nissan was in '96. I joined here in '02 when I picked up a Maxima. Been here ever since.
