I havent been on here since March and finally got my password so i figured i`d update ya. I got my heads and cam dont which i`ll post up in the hybrid section later: hint(over400whp:) ) I know I had a long disscussion about what color i should go with and lots of people bagged on this but like i said, its only for a couple of months. Will be blood metallic red with gold flake, or darkish forest green with gold flake. ANYWAYS,
Got the car primered yesterday. I put on the rear valance and got about 90% of the dents out. It still needs a little love before i sand it down and go for paint in a couple months. And i know some people hate the look of this but hey, looks good enough for me to rock a couple months(better then red fenders) Anyways, you can still see a little where the bondo is beneath the primer coat. But here it is of 8-29-10

Also, shyt aint cheap yo.I ahve to do my stuff in steps. Thats what college and a part time job will do to ya. Well that, and also the fact i did my swap first and heads and a cam etc etc. the 10% is still alot that i have to do.

ps, its not even a sleeper when cruzing lol its so oddly sounding and loud

+1 for actually having tires instead of stretched rubber bands.. I'm guessing there's a v8 under the hood?
Good choice of colors too. Once my car is ready for paint, I was thinking a darker green or maroon with flake as well.
Keep up the good work!

Feel free to leave the chip on your shoulder at the door. I believe BoG was wondering if the rolled fenders were actually helping considering the amount of meat you have on the wheels. Didn't read any hate into it myself.

sorry, i apologize,
Its just i have ad people bag on me cause i have them rolled and pulled and my car isnt slammed to the ground.

The pull is pretty aggressive. I want to go about another 1/8-1/4 more though but wont cause i dont want the sides to pop in.

I think it looks good as is. Slammed with a huge pull/hellaflush/whatever is whats popular, but that doesn't mean you should do it that way.

I don't care what anyone says, I love the flat black look. I especially love the flat black primer with tinted windows and then BAM gold rims, it just makes the rims pop and stand out even more. I'm thinking of going that route but just want a bright gold or copper deep lip with gunmetal or satin black spokes.

Sorry, should have elaborated more. Was just wondering why you would have such a pull with that ride height and that meat. Thanks for the explaining though

:dblthumb: I loved your OEM paint color, but this came out looking good too...

Sidenote: I really hope Rota makes another batch of 18x9.5+15 4x114.3 Grids. :ohno:

I think you should go lower just a tad and maybe cough up some dough for a Type-X front and it'll look perfect! :gapteeth:
Still looks nice dude!

that's so sexy. green hatches look incredible, and the wheels offset it so well.

Thanks guy. The 180sx front is a no go for me. Although they do look good they are just too played out. I`ll probably get the xenon lip.
As for the lowering part, I want to but im going to get some other coilovers first and go about 1/4-1/2 inch for the back and 1/8-1/4 in the front. Right now my rears a little to soft.
