almost overheating 1990 240sx

hey i have a 1990 240sx after about 15 mintues of my car idioling its temp goes up and i shut it down in fear of the worst. what do u think it is? what part of cooling system would that fall under?

Does it always happen, or just when you have the AC, heater, defrost on?

could be t-stat run it with the cap off and observe coolant for flow. an air pocket in the system could also cause it. best way to bleed it is to elevate the front and remove the bleader screw on the intake manifold while filling it. dont run the car with the bleeder screw removed.

k and where is the bleeder srew on intake sorry im no pro but thanks 4 ur help

near the front of the intake where a group of black wires is bolted down with a electrical lug. should be a 10mm head screw with a brass washer underneath it.

k cool also i took radiator cap off and for the fist 1 minute or so i saw no movement. then 2-3 after i put it on and take it off slowly it shoots out i was just checkin to make sure there was movement dont worry i didn't burn myself hahahah. also bleeder do u mean where the negative from the battery is bolted to the intake manifold cuz im not exactly sure what ur sayin(i dont see a group of wires bolted down i looked every where on there)i'll try and take a picture and post it later. and thanks!!

k update did my oil and emptied and re filled my radiator and its still doin it. anyone have an idea whats next
