all runs performed with 93 octane gas.

started out with a simple run at 9lbs of boost. the numbers were like 250hp, maybe lower. i cant remember exactly. i had never been on a dyno before, so i didnt go full throttle and didnt rev it out.

as the runs went on i got used to being on the dyno and we upped the boost in small increments. after letting the car cool down and upping the fuel pressure a tiny bit to be on the safe side, I cranked the boost to 20psi and this is what i made... keep in mind, that run was the last one. i had been on the dyno for an hour. so if i was to run that psi for my first run next time, i would prolly net numbers a bit higher. all in all, im happy. not 400hp, like i wanted, but damn fukkin close. I'll have more pictures and stuff later on.

set up is as follows.....turbonetics t3/t4 ball bearing, 50 trim, .63 A/R, stage 3 wheelturbonetics deltagate wastegateETD manifoldgreddy front mount intercoolerbuilt engine:pauter rods, supertech pistons(8.r C/R, .020 over)ferrea valve springs and retainersport and polish, 3 angle valve jobcometic head gasket

Goddam! Is that straight JWT ECU Air/Fuel ratio? That is a pretty lean setup for them...

And how about timing? Have you seen what it is running with a techtom or timing light on the dyno?

Sweet numbers! I bet you could put some more fuel in it and prolly advance timing a degree or two and make your number... If not, race gas and more timing!!!haha Good job tho! Fun on the street I bet!

yup, thats all JWT, nothing else.

i ddint even think of checking the timing on the dyno. i may next time i go though. its cheap enough where i went. only 50 bucks an hour. unlimited runs in that hour

i just noticed that toward the end of the run on the dyno sheet, it looks like i was running kinda lean. looks almost to 13:1. i wonder why. the dyno guy never said anything either.

any ideas as to why that happened?

have you rewired your fuel pump like so?

http://www.ka-t.org/tech

i would be careful with boosting 20 psi on pump gas (close to 400 rwhp). done excessively could lead to blown headgasket eventually.

i dont mean to sound dumb and im not questioning you, but could you explain the blown head gasket thing a little more.

93 octane not enough for that psi? should i use race gas next time?

That's one of smoothest dyno charts i've seen in a long time...

NICE

Also,, your supertechs are 8.5:1, I assume?

That's extremely nice power for a straight JWT tune.

the pistons are 8.5:1

im very happy with the way the JWT ecu performed. the only thing im worried about is running lean towards the end of the run on the dyno sheet.

im going to do what klattr suggested and wire my fuel pump with a relay. and maybe consult JWT to see if they have any other suggestions.

thanks everyone for comments and suggestions.

My JWT dyno graph looks very similar, not as much hp but the AFR's are close. I'm running the same setup. The AFR's were actually a little leaner, tappering off to high 12's under WOT. I bought a NISMO fpr and bumped the base pressure up by 5 psi. Works great. Now I'm getting low to mid 11's under full boost.

Get some race gas and get that 400 hp!

Fix that leaning problem and you got yourself a winner there!

100 octane would be safer for that power level and boost level (400whp and 20 psi). if you boost higher than 22-24 psi, then 110 octane would be better. too much cylinder pressure from lower octane gas (excess cylinder pressure from detonation) and head could lift.

but im sure you can safely do 17 psi on pump gas.
