Can someone please tell me what the dynamic Damper's purpose is? I'm assuming that's what it called as that's the only term I could find that was close in proximity on schematics. Whatever irs called, it's the small square on the lower control/trailing arm that looks like a whetstone or magnet. Really just curious but would appreciate knowing. Thanks in advance.

You should also have them on the upper trailing arms also - much heavier piece at that!
I've thought it was there for vibration-sound cancelling - considering the amount of "trailing" work (ie. up/down cycles during normal drives) that arm undergoes. Granted, it may be bolted down tight between the body and suspension, vibration might not be thought of a big deal.
That's the only thing I could think of when working on my trailing arms.
