I've almost got the swap completed but I have a few questions on small things that are hanging me up. The main question I have is how does the harness route? The place that did my harness extended everything and made it so the ignitor will mount in the stock location but I'm having trouble getting the harness routed neatly. If anyone has a picture or diagram of how the harness should route I'd really appreciate it.

The second thing is the stock rubber intake tube, It has 2 extra ports on it and one vaccume connector and I can't seem to get it on the turbo and fitting nicely. Anyone have an idea or picture of how it should be position and what the ports are on it. I know one is for the BOV, but I have no idea about the vaccume port or the other port on it.

I also have a Greddy Hotpipe but it doesn't quite seem to be long enough to reach my lower intercooler pipe (Hybrid FMIC), am I supposed to have to enlarge the stock hole or what?

The last problem I think I've solved, but my throttle cable wouldn't work with the stock cable mount on the intake manifold, it was keeping the throttle plate open all the time. I had to cut the stock KA cable mount in half and grind it a bit to get it to hold the cable where it needed to be.

Any help would be great and pictures would be even better, I'm trying to get it running by this weekend if I can.

Well with the "intake tube" one of those ports goes to the recirc hose off your bov and the other one, the vacume port, i dont think is necessary. I just plugged mine. With the hotpipe, if you havent already you probably need to enlarge that hole if you havent touched it at all. It has the hole that went to your stock intake but you will notice that there is a "punch" in the sheetmetal that looks like an oval. Thinking you will need to cut that out. If you were to use a stock smic then you would definitely need to cut that out. Thinking that the intercooler is in the same location as the smic is supposed to be. Dont know what they did to the harness so i have no idea on that.

Okay, thanks. So at least now I know I need to enlarge the hole for the hotpipe to work. I'm stoll not sure about the extra port in the intake. I understand the vaccume line and the port for the recirc. BOV, but there is stil a largish port on the bottom side. Is it possible this was for the AIV?

Where does is the stock position for the ignitor, its just free, not mounted on a plate or anything, but if I knew where it went normally I could probably figure the wiring out rather easily.

The ignitor is usually mounted to a plate that mounts onto the pass. side strut tower. Mine just kinda floats aroud, behind the strut tower, and its no big deal. You can plug the exta hole wth something and you shouldn't have any problems.
