Alloy centercap fell off

Still loving the Versa and still drives like new but this odd problem sure does bug me and make the car look "beat." I happened to notice one day that one of my alloy wheels is missing the center cap. How does this happen? Any one else ever had THAT happen? It's whatever I guess. I won't bother replacing it unless I find one at a junkyard or something one day. Courtesy nissan website wants $50 for a freakin centercap. I don't want it THAT badly.

Wow.. thats quite a bit of money for just a center cap. I haven't ever heard of this happening before, to be honest, I didn't even know those bad boys popped off.
