I wish we had a track laid back like yours man! In TX, when you break 11.99 you get the boot if you don't have a cage and the cage better be NHRA approved or they won't let you run again. Part of the reasons I do nothing but 8th mile. I only get to make one real hard run then that's it.

congrats on your numbers. When you launch do you dump the clutch or ease out of it then engage once you start rolling?

yea its definitely understood they are trying to prevent us from dying. lol

but...i still think there are plenty of low 11/high 10 sec cars that dont run on wrinkle walls and are pretty stable at the end of the track. but this is only my opinion as there are always exceptions.

im revving at about 5500rpms at the line and might have a slight slip to it, if not jsut pretty much dropping the clutch. its the only way to really get good 60's

Not to start any debates, but one of the local SR guys ran an 11.9 with only around 317whp in a s13 coupe, with a vlsd... I was wondering why it seems much more difficult for a ka-t to run fast times even with more horsepower and torque? is it the rev range or powerband or what? you can see his car at http://www.srgarage.com his name is billy...

1) S13 coupes are lighter

2) anthony traps at 128mph. he is mph E.Ting, not traction E.T.ing, with only 317whp i'm guessing that coupe is only trapping 115mph ish.

3) with a 128mph trap speed, anthony's car has the ability to be in the 10's. he just doesnt' want to destroy his transmission coming out of the hole that hard

4) 10's is 1 second faster then 11's. he needs atleast 100 more whp to be in the 10's. as we all know that as you get lower in the times, the power required to move from up another second requires even more hp.

race those two cars from a roll and you'll clearly see the hp difference.

If you want to compare cars, look at trap speed.

If you want to compare drivers, look at ET.
