I've obviously been around NICO for a little while, but this is my first trip into the trucks forum. Figured I'd stop in and say hi since I just swapped my '08 Altima coupe for a 2011 Titan Pro-4x. I'm sure there will be a stereo install following in the not too distant future.

And a quick pic of the old car and new truck. Nothing too exciting yet as the truck is still completely stock. For now...

Think so? The Titan definitely gets a few goodies the Armada doesn't (like an electronic locking rear diff), but the Armada also gets a lot of nice stuff the Titan doesn't... most aren't hardware related, but it DOES get independent rear suspension.

Will do. Still brainstorming on subwoofer placement. It's too large to hide anywhere, so I'm thinking it may have to sit in the middle of the back seat? Nothing is final with that plan yet, however.

Yours didn't come with the subwoofer under the driver's seat? It IS a pretty small subwoofer though.

I am considering making the same trade right now. Any regrets?

None (and I'm well beyond the honeymoon stage). The gas mileage is far worse (but that is to be expected). I'm getting about 15.5 mpg mixed (~85/15 highway/city). It's substantially better in the snow and on unpaved roads, and I get far more utility out of it (shopping trips are much easier now). I'm not sure what trim level you are considering, but the Pro-4x is awesome. I now greatly appreciate sitting above most other vehicles on the road. The only downside is not having dual-zone climate control (and that's if I'm really being picky). If you're really interested, PM me and I can give you some advice on how I got a great deal on mine. For reference, a Pro-4x without the premium package (leather seats, etc) should be had under $30k. An almost fully-loaded SL (without navigation) should be in the $34k-range. Both those prices are considering current incentives.

My last not-really-a-complaint is that I want another manual transmission car. Can't really call it a complaint against the truck, just that I'd like to have that ability back.

Considering Nissan is getting ready to make-over the Titan for 2014, you could probably get a smoking deal on what's left on the lots. I always loved the Titan but we really can't afford the gas. We live too far from EVERYTHING to make it feasible to drive almost anywhere.

it will be a Model year 15 Titan that changes, so the current model still has quite some time left.
