Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself.

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hello all. I have been lurking around for a while but i never got the chance to take some pictures. And whats better than introducing yourself if your not going to post a few pictures. I am a previous Acura owner. My last car was a 2005 Acura TL. 6 speed with navi, 19" RonJon rims, 35% tint, Tein SS w EDFC, Greddy strut bar. - light modifications. i was absolutely in love with that car, but I am getting ready to get married soon and will shortly start a family. And while the TL is a good, reliable, beautiful car, i wanted something that was AWD. So i sold the TL and took advantage of infinitis great financing. 0% at 72 months. Here are picutures of my old and new car. my new car is a platinum graphite , ebony interior. nav, tech, lux style package.. all season mats, 20% tint. When i get back from my wedding im going to hardwire my Valentine One radar detector. ill wait for next summer to get some rims.

Welcome! I think you made a good decision on this one.

I`m done with HONDA and Toyota`s V-TECH , VVT-I technology.

They both make good engines but they don`t finish it up with better intake

system and better exhaust pipings. This is where NISSAN/INFINITI shines!

They make good engine and finished it off by putting a nice dual intake and

better exhaust. So what does this mean? Better real world performance

driving.

BTW, this EX35 is so quiet even when floored!

U gonna take a huge downgrade in passenger space. My friend has a 07 TL and its pretty damn roomy. The EX and TL exhaust note is gonna be pretty similar if i remember correctly. Either way - good looking TL and EX! haha

Looks like you melted your CF engine cover there. Too much aggressive driving? Welcome!

i really didn't want the wood trim. it adds a realm of luxury and i still wanted to be sporty.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. This forum is definetly has less activity than the Acura forum, but it is still a new car and i feel like it will grow. The rear of the TL is definetely bigger than the EX but i don't plan on hauling a lot of people, maybe just occasionally. By the time we have kids and they get older we will have another car. my fiance is really tiny and this car is perfect for her. after a few years i will give it to her and get something else. maybe a GT-R if the trannys get any better.

i am leaving to get married on wednesday and wont return till the 25, but when i get back i plan on harwiring my Valentine One, i will provide detailed pics and step by step instructions for anyone that wants to do it. i was tinkering around in the garage and removed a few panels.. really straight forward. Other than that, im looking at some intakes, maybe exhaust, and your right Mixelplux, there is a faily nice exhaust note now. . possibly suspension if it ever comes out. definetely rims by next summer. i got to start doing my research to see what will fit and whatnot.. don't want to get a rim and have a majorly off offset.

The carbon fiber under my hood was made by one of my friends and i don't think he used enough resin or CF because it started to melt and crack and i didn't have the OEM pieces. he won't do that to this car.

This car is amazing. the looks, everything about it. i also love the fact that i hardly see any EX's on the road. I would see another TL practically everymile and i had the only one that was modded. if the EX wasn't as high as it is now, i could see it being released as a G35-wagon. i am in love with all the gadgetry. i thought my TL was pretty advanced with the nav and all the features but the EX makes it look like a Speak-n-Spell

wow more than a year ago...

our TLs are almost twins except i kept the 18" A-specs and did a wing instead of a lip...

i would have done the wing instead of the lip but i got a better deal on the lip. and as far as the Aspec rims, i was unable to find them in an 8.5 width which was discontinued and i couldn't find them. the new size was 8.0. i just picked up a 02' s2000 for fun.

ohhh haha you were actually smart and didnt buy the A-spec from the dealer..... i wish i had known about AZ before i did that, it's okay tho, i think the A-spec steering wheel made up for all of that.

how you liking your EX so far?
