Just joined the forums and wanted to say hello. I purchased a 2005 Manual Ivory Pearl G35 yesterday which I've been very happy with. I love that it combines a feeling of class while still being powerful and looking great.

Unfortunately I didn't own it for more then six hours before someone threw a piece of road debris in the air taking out my passenger side light assembly and denting the hood. It even kicked out the emblem on the grill which I subsequently ran over. Not a great way to end out a day.

I don't suppose anyone knows of a junk yard or place that specializes in Infiniti auto parts in the Tampa Bay area? I have a friend who repaints and repairs cars for a living so the hood I'm not overly worried about however if I can find the emblem and passenger side light assembly for cheaper then the $430 I've been seeing online, it would be worth the effort otherwise I'll just make a claim against my insurance.

Thanks!

Sean

Welcome to NICO Sean and REALLY sorry to hear what happened!!

We do have a few members here from Tampa...hang tight and I'm sure when one logs on he/she may be able to point you in the right direction.

You may also want to pose this question in the NICO General chat area (this is the G35 GC area) you may get a quicker response.

Congrats on the car I bet it is beautiful.

I'm afraid our G's are just flaw magnets. I have had more things happen to my G in the year I have owned it than all my other cars combined in my 38 years of driving!

Welcome to Nico and sorry to hear what happened to your car. Hope she gets fixed up and will look just as good as it was rolling out from the assy line.
