I do have one question. Does that rear camber affect your tire wear?

And I agree, this is a super forum.
Thanks! Yea it get's ALOT OF TIME & LOVE! I'm pretty anal w/ it!

Yea, camber affects tire wear but toe is the biggest factor! If your toe is correct the the tires last alot longer!

On average I go about 4-5 months on tires before having to buy knew ones! Kind of a pain but love CAMBER & RIding low!

There's 3 of us silver Qs in SD:....
Jerry Tucker's All Import Service - Located in San Diego CA, Jerry Tucker is the best place in the west for servicing your Q45. Jerry Tucker also offers exchange repair services for blank climate control displays. Jerry Tucker All Import Service can be reached at 858-573-1118. 4855-C Ruffner Street San Diego, CA 92111

I wish he was up here in LA. The new owner (Brian) I think... is also cool and obviously very knowledgeable, he worked there for a while before taking over.

That is really a nice looking car.

But from my perspective, it must be one of those Southern California things. I am a college professor in the SE and I can only imagine my students' reactions if I tooled into my reserve parking space in that ride - for about half of them, my "coolness" factor would definitely go up, but the other half might think I need therapy for role modeling a sugar daddy from Boyz n the Hood.

Maybe I better stick with my 3 standard Q's for now. But if I had your car, and added a pony tail, and maybe a small stud earring, now that would be the ultimate coolness combination. But I teach business and would need to switch over to maybe, psychology or philosophy to complete the match.

But with 4 small kids (who all ride in my cars), keeping that nice ride so clean would be impossible - better left in your hands I think - enjoy.

I second that.

1. I can't find any NICO members that drive Q's (plenty of 240 driver's around) in my area, or even an hour each way. (PA, NJ, DE)

2. Not much VIP being done over here that I can see with the exception Mark Yuen, but that's only someone I read about. I was happy to see that Mark and I have the same body shop in common (Nixon's). His VIP ride was featured in Import Tuner.

3. And it seems that the West Coast and Southern Q guys on the NICO board have all the fun. Midwest seems to be in on it too.

I wish I could have a fellow enthusiast around. Maybe I wouldn't freak out so much about the Q if I had an expert to chase my fears away.

Listen to you, huh?

Hey don't listen to this guy. Do what you want. Use the forum in a manner that suits you.If you don't want to search through endless amounts of old posts to find something, just ask the question. There are many of us who don't mind at all seeing the same question posted twice in a week.

Your cars' cool man. Ain't my style but it's still alright.

Hey by the way, ya got any rubber on dem wheels or do ya just ride the steel?

I'm on VSC but not as much as I am on here. (I practically live here.)

Maybe I can find a VIP expert on there around my area, but would they be as Q knowledgeable as the guys on this board?

Whats up? This is a cool place to go to for tech questions. Everyone here is real mature and for the most part, they know their stuff better then some mechanics.

Haitian, I live in NYC. I was just down in Jersey on the weekend by Rutgers.

Sure about that man? Doesn't appear to be any on there.

Oh, hey I got a question.

Do them there tires o yers cost like 1/2 the price of regular tires since ya got about 1/2 the rubber?

My next tires are gonna stick out past my wheels by like 2 inches. I don't care how dumb it looks. Freakin sick of those damn curb rashes. Man I did one last night, not paying attention, must of taken 1/2" concrete off the curb and my rim is "F"'d up.

You must just park in a field huh?
