Recently blew my head gasket and had to to take it apart and rebuild it. It idled fine but when i drove it i noticed it would only shift when the RPM reached 3000. I have no idea what it could be! Ive been reading up about the TCM but not sure what that is or how if would affect it. I have a stock KA and auto transmission... any ideas??

Not quite sure. I am trying to find out why my 1992 240sx Hatch shifts at 5500 RPM. I unplugged the rev sensor, because I read that it would help, but it didn't. It could be the TPS (Throttle Positioning Sensor), which is attached to the throttle body.

I unplugged the TPS in my 1992 240sx Hatch with an auto transmission and my car shifts normal now.
