Hi all,

Are there any decent all season-tires you can get for the G35? I have an '05 G35c, and was having trouble finding all-seasons in the stock 19" size on TireRack.

I am leaning to all-seasons over summers, as I have a set of winters, but the weather in Calgary can be pretty unpredictable. I don't want to be leaving my winters on till June as it'll wear them out, but don't want to be worried about late season rain/snow.

All suggestions welcome!

Woohoo!! Another Canuck!

Welcome to NICO!

Please ...do NOT go all seasons on the Coupe. Especially in Calgary my friend. They'll be pretty much useless... trust me.

Go Blizzaks all the way

Post some pics of that bad boy in the Members Rides area too!

No I am lurking around sometimes but felt like Nico was a warzone. So I decided to stay away a bit. I did not move yet 2 more weeks. Man I am putting everything in boxes and you know what comes with moving. ARGH

I am moving on the 3rd of March. Then I renovate the whole house.

CalgaryG,

Try the Eagle F1 All Seasons... they are new from Goodyear, and I've got the 18's on my G and they work very well in the dry, rain / cold rain, and even in light snow -light snow. +very good for the price - not too overpriced like some of the michelin tires. Handling is excellent overall.

The Eagles can be a little loud, and harsh because of the treadpatter and rigid carbon fibre sidewalls... but then again, with 19's... it doesn't matter what tires you have, it will ride harsh.

I use to have the Oem summer only Bridgestone re050a's and although they are very good in summer, rain... when it gets just a little colder, it starts to spinout and slide easily.

Looking for a less expensive option? ---also look at the continental extreme contacts ... or better yet, the Kumho ASX ---but in the ultra high performance all season category. I had the Kumho ASXs on my friend's car and it also is a very good tire - quiet too! Good Luck with the Chinooks!

L

Ps. I go to Calgary for work once a month... the last time i was there, it was like freekin -37c --- nuf sed --- lol

As a pseudo Canadian myself, all seasons will be good. I've ran all seasons on other cars before and had no problem with them (haven't with the G yet as it gets stored during the winter). I also recommend Tire Rack for info and possibly purchasing.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Yeah I definitely bought a set of 17" winters... I do a lot of snowboarding so I decided to go the safe route haha

My 19's need replacing, so I thought I might look for a set of A/S tires, as the weather in Calgary can be kind of unpredictable, even in the summer.... it is not unheard of to get snow in the mountains in May/June.

We'll see what I can manage to dig up!

I have a 2005 G35 Coupe, 6MT. Will these tires fit? (All the way around, front & rear. There are no other sizes available to make a staggered arrangement).

235/35R19 87V

These are Nokians... tire rack comes up with no suggestions when I search for A/S tires in the stock 225/40 & 245/40 size.

On Tirerack, I was able to find Goodyear F1 A/S's in the following sizes:235/35ZR19245/35ZR19255/35ZR19

Could I use the 235's in the front and 245's in the rear? (Or use the 255 in the rear as a tire calculator I found says this will make the speedo read closer to the actual speed)

Would this setup be better as it keeps the staggered fitment? Or should I go the same size all around then I could rotate my tires...

So use the 245's or 255's in the rear?
