I have a 2004 coupe with the optional 18" sport tires and wheels. After the first snow (car was uncontrollable!) I bought Pirelli Winter Sports, all 4, for about 1100, and now have to pay $100 twice a year for mounting for the seasonal change. Has anyone found a GOOD, and good handling all season sport tire for the 18" wheels. 225/45 and 245/45 are the sizes. If so, where? Cost?

You could try the Kumho ASX's. The Avon Tech is suppose to be one hell of a Ultra High Performance All Season Tire.

I'm about to get the Yokohama Avid V4S. They are all-season high performances. Heard great things about this tire. Besides handling and control, it also has minimum road noise. They are also great for the price. Or you can go a step higher for the Yokohama Advan S.4., all-season ultra high performances. More expensive, better performance, and a bit lower tread life.

Hope this gives you a starting point.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Avon's.

I've been running Kumho ASX's since December of last year and have had no problems, but I haven't had them in the snow either. Not much snow in central Arkansas.

I don't know what these comparison numbers would mean to you. But it's a good starting point for researching what would best fit your need.
