my car is running real warm, with a skyline radiator, and a 14 inch puller and 12 inch pusher.

the ac isint helping , and i am prevented from running it as the temps go above 205 on the consult very quickly in the GA heat.

i am debating upgrading my radiator but as it stands i wanted to get a feel for what other people are succsessful with before i did..\s what are you running for cooling on your AC'd RB?

We don't generally do too many AC'd RB's, but all the RB swaps we do, come with dual 12 inch pusher fans, and a RB26 n1 water pump, and temp always stay around 180-190, we've had them drop down to under 180 when we run a Koyo with that setup.

Well, I've got A/C on my RB25 s13 and I'm running a 10in pusher and FAL 210's as pullers sucking on a racing KOYO rad and when the A/C is off, the temps run around 75-85 degrees Celsius. When I crank up the A/C the temps get up to 90-98 degrees C. Mind you, this was with a slightly blown HG and the car is still in pieces while I await parts to finish the HG swap so I can't say what the temps will be with a good HG. Hope this helps. Oh BTW, I also have an undertray forcing air through the FMIC into the radiator and numerous vents in the OEM bumper.

your able to fit 2 10's behind a koyo??

i had alot of greif fitting the 14 back there and assumed you woudlnt fit ANY pullers behind a koyo..

BTW i am seriously trying to avoid cutting up my bumper.

Actually, I've got 2 12" fans as pullers on the Koyo. I had to modify the upper and lower radiator mounts to squeeze it in there and I've got about 1/8" clearance between the back of the driver's side fan and the PS pump. When the fans kick on, you can see the temp drop like a stone...it works really well! You probably don't have to cut up the bumper but you WILL at least have to fab up an undertray and a box to force the incoming air only through the radiator, not around it. Make sure you seal up those fans to rad too with some high temp silicone. I'd take some pics but the car is in pieces as I said eariler.

Just build ducting in the front of your car so the air has nowere to go but in the radiator. That should bring down temp quick. US based 240's were never meent to cool a 6 cylinder turbo. I would try to build ducting before you go spend the money on a new rad.

Here's a few crappy pics. The lighting in my garage sucks so I apologize. Also, sorry for the large pics. This is how much trimming we did on the top support. Compare it with your stock piece:

for the guys with AC on their rb20 or rb25, did you have to get AC lines from the RB clip?? or can you somehow use the line from the s13??

Lower mounts were a bit harder than the top because you actually have to grind away the channel that the OEM radiator is supposed to fit into. We also slotted the lower mounting holes for the rad so the whole shebang could sit further forward. The work wasn't difficult, just very time consuming.

Yes, I'm actually running an RB26 compressor (because I couldn't find the compressor fittings for my RB25 one so it was actually easier to find a whole RB26 compressor with fittings attached). The remainder of the A/C lines are custom but it's really only 2-3 small pieces that needed to be fabbed up by the A/C shop (Fuggers still charged me an arm and a leg though).
