if the shop did the work they might have been a couple teeth off on the timing chain - try advancing your timing and see what happens - definatly check your compression - and if that doesnt work then u might just be off on timing

A new, bigger exhaust would probably net you a few more HP due to all the gasses trapped in the old, constrictive piping. That does seem really low, though. Good luck tryin to figure it out.
