I have something to point out here!

I here all to often on this forum about how the owners of nissans take their car to a dealer and they feel they got ripped off or the techs at the dealer dont know what they are doing or some other derogatory statement on the quality of work they recieved at the dealer.

Yet I a dealer tech recieve all this hoopla. ladies and gentle men there is a reason dealers are more expensive then midas, pep boys, joes fix it shop on the corner. The techs are trained on nissans only (in my case I am multi line trained) but non the less we are trained to work on these cars. The knowledge we have is far superior then that of your typical mechanic, even those shops will admit to it when confronted with it. The quality of the parts are far superior to that of the othershops or autozone carry. Consider this the next time you all want to bash the dealer. consider it when you have a problem with the dealer be smart when you go back to confront them on an issue with your car. In most cases the dealer is more likely to work with you then the other hack shops I mentioned above.

Scott made a good point here!

Also lets not forget that Devin is also a factory etch and Mike is a former factory tech now in an indpendent performance shop (if memory serves).

So all our NOM are dealer techs.

Well thanks to you I learned something new about coilovers today. You and the other tech's presence is definately apperciated. On the whole dealership thing, Ive come across my fair share of workers at Nissan dealerships that spoke of things they knew very little or nothing about, but Im aware that the amount of these guys are a lot lower than the ones that actually know what they're doing. Besides, if they're no help, I still got NICO.
