Welcome to NICO!

Definitely a fuse issue. Not sure which fuse...but there is an access panel on the drivers' side foot area (on the left).

its going to be a 15A fuse on the top row..(meaning closest to the dash)...there will be a diagram on the door to the fuse box...its probably blown so you'll need to get a new fuse..unless you're like the previous owner of my G35 and used the left power socket to charge your phone or power your radar or any other accessory...Infiniti told me that if i wanted to use a cig. lighter for an accessory..its better to use the one on the passanger side or the one in the center arm rest...i think the one on the driver's side has more voltage and can malfunction anything such as a radar or a phone charger..hope it helps and welcome to NICO.

The voltage should be the same, the fuse size may be different. There is anothe possible difference as well. I have found that on some cars there is a difference between the diameter of an accessory socket and that designed for a lighter. I found this out after purchasing a rechargeable led light that is about the size of a lighter and doesn't fit anything in the car even though it has adapters to do so.
