Oh and did I mention I need to drop my engine this weekend but I failed miserabley by letting my engine fall onto a tire but still being attatched to the engine stand with a bent trans bolt? And I spent over $300 on an intake that wasnt provided with hardware To make it worse I also need power steering lines that Im waiting for them to be shipped when I paid for them almost a week ago, I broke off a cast iron peice of my $800 turbo because Im an idiot?
We all have problems with our 240's, this is what unites us, I just thought Id share and make you feel a little better about your situation
Wow, that sucks. Well I also failed a few times today. Here we go:Fail #1: Putting a KA24E into a 92 Coupe (Runs like a champ but still... ugh.)Fail #2: Removing the header: 1st bolt, fine, 2nd took out the stud instead of the nut and 3rd, stripped the bolt (time for the wheel of death, you f***ing bolt.)Fail#3: Trying to put in an engine while the trans is already in. I've heard it sucks but I thought I could do it, I guess taking the lazy way out sucks too.Fail #4: Not putting in the engine before I ran out of time on my engine hoist rental.
I f***ING SUCK. Atleast beer makes everything better. And yes, I RENTED AN ENGINE HOIST. Didn't have the regular one available at the time so I did it.
I'm sorry though, but i must ask, how the f*** did you wind up drilling a hole in your fuel lines? Drills + Cars = Bad Choice (depending on the situation).
