All 1997 Q owners and up - please read - poll (Y33)

Hi,I have a 97Q with 71k. I hear a high pitch sound from the fuel pump when the car is running.

I have a poll for all 1997 Q owners and up (y33)-

1. What year is your Q ;

2. How many miles?

3. Have you ever changed your fuel pump (if so at what milage?)

From what I understand the 2 speed pumps that are put into the Y33 line are much more robust than the three speed pumps in the 94-96 Q models.I had a 94 Q - I know for a fact that the pump is good for about 100k and almost in all cases needs replacement after that mileage. Is this also ture for the 2 speed pumps in the Y33?

I think this poll will help everyone with a Y33 line understand a little better on the durability of the fuel pump.

I have a '98 Q with 102k miles and have never changed the fuel pump. I don't have any noticeable noise coming from the pump.
