Alittle help please

Well I just bought the stillen exhaust and I was wondering since im putting that on would I get a much better result if I get the intake at the same time? The dealer told me $600 for the install with intake, he told me I would be better off getting both but wasn't sure if he just wants to make a sale.

Also I heard that installing that intake is a No No because it sucks up to much hot air when like in traffic, can some one help with this before I go for it please.
