good idea to check your alignment if you hit a curb.in NC alignments are approx 60 to 80 dollars. If your sreering wheel is off center yor alignment is off.Im a honda tech and I see this all the time.

I pay for an alignment every 6-9 months to log the periodic degradation of the rubber bushings in the suspension arms to budget their eventual replacement.

Shocks weaken and need owner paid replacement about every 4 years [60k]..................hard to keep things as brand new without brand new things.

If you don't do it regularly, get an alignment with any new set of tires to ensure longer life, at a minimum.

I used to frequent a shop that only charged if an alignment was really necessary. And then, would reduce the charge if only one end of the car needed adjustment and not the other. Hard to find places like that anymore.

Getting an alignment more than once a year is a waste of money IMO. Unless you frequently bash into curbs, etc. On the hand, waiting until tire wear looks bad is not wise either. Many people are surprised how much better their car can feel after an alignment, especially if a fair amount of correction was needed.
