Not really, no. Many roads have what is known as 'road crown' and no road is really spot on level... Best bet is find a trustworthy shop that you are confident does a good job.
Some shops that I know of actually will hang the heads on your car, check the settings, and if it's withing specs, will test drive to make sure there's no serious steering/wandering/pulling issues, and that tire pressure is correct, then hand you the keys and wish you a fine day.(no charge, since no adj was made)
These shops might be hard to find, but still, even if you don't find a customer-friendly shop, you should at least pay to have the car re-aligned if you feel there might be adjustment necessary, or if you can justify paying for the job as preventative maintenance.
