Hi,

Does anyone know of an alignment shop in so cal that can align lowered cars?

I took it to some local ones today, got rejected by all of them.

I got mine (full coilovers, t/c rods, tie rods, ruca, rear tie rods - the works) to firestone muffler & ask them for lifetime. They agreed. However, they don't do a "great" job, the wait is long, etc, but I figured it's "ok" for now - just get it done at a pro place and just have firestone maintain the correction every few months.

In any case, you can also get it done @ Super Autobacs. Advantage here is a lot of the guys who work there have modified suspension, so they know what they are doing. I've had good & bad experiences w/ autobacs.

Then there's professional race alignment shops, but I've never gone to them, nor know of any since I remember asking a couple ppl how much they got their coilovers aligned for (around $200 for a one time gig), not worth it for me for now.

yeah SUPER AUTOBACS did my alignment and i came out pretty good.

the cost of the job is about the same anywhere else, except they know how to adjust aftermarket suspension if needed.

brokeAs240sx thanks for the info on super autobacs last month.

i used to sell alignments for goodyear...i know how they work.

if you have a lifetime alignment, they just "set the toe and let it go"

not all of them are like that

some of the techs ask me how I want the toes/cambers to be

not to be racist but usually the older mexicans is more willing to get the job done right

Yea, it varies on how lazy/nice the tech feels that day. Sometimes you just gotta be a ***** to get everything set right. I gotta do that again in a couple weeks after i adjust the height of my car again.

Ummmm, read above?

Super Autobacs "specializes" in lowered cars in that they drive your car onto a flat ramp, then raise it - instead of an incline ramp. They seem to be the most affordable lowered car friendly shop (not counting lifetime places).
