if all you have is an injen intake, and an electric fan, either the stealth wasn't trying, or he had some serious engine problems, or he didn't know how to drive at all. Not to be down on the 240, but Turbo stealths, even automatics (!) are a lot faster than the 240. Not saying you didn't beat him either......but it's certainly not normal for a 240 to spank a stealth!
I'm wondering about rear end alignment also, although I have an s13. On one side, the gap between the tire and fender is about the same on the front and back of the tire. On the other side, the gap is smaller on the front side of the tire than on the back. (if that makes any sense). Well, I had a shop do a 4 wheel alignment on it (although I'm not convinced they touched the back end at all, because it didn't change the tire/fender gap at all). So I took it back in to have them check it, and I thought I was specific and told them to check the back, but they only checked the front. Which also makes me think they never touched the back in the first place. Needless to say, I am not going back to that shop!
I thought maybe the alignment problem could have been because of an accident before I owned the car, so I ran a VIN check to see if the car had been in an accident, but the title came out clean, with no major accidents reported. I was sure, because of the back allignment and because of the way some of the body panels didn't line up quite perfect that it had been in an accident, but the VIN check came out clean.
Sorry this is so long, but can anyone give any help?
