I am in desperate need of an alignment because I havent gotten one since I put the springs in, But I have gone to 3 places to try and see if they can get an alignment done but they all tell me the car is too low and that they might scratch the lip (stillen lip) so they dont want to do the alignment.I was wondering has anyone else had this problem with the eibach drop and stillen lip? or am i just going to the wrong places to get a alignment (midas, tires plus, local mechanic shop)?

thanks for the feedback

Try finding a good years or something that have an alignment set up that is within the ground.

There is a few places here I know of that have the set up like that and I am not sure why you would have any issue. Eibach and Stillen lip is not that low. I am on BC Racing fully lock and they had no issue getting my car up on the rack.

Are you telling these places before hand that another shop won't do it because it's too low?

Why do you want an alignment if all you have is springs?

All they can do is change the toe. Why would that be off with springs?

It's always good to have an alignment when anything is done to the suspension. Traditionally, with a spring drop, you wouldn't need an alignment but it wouldn't hurt.

My front fascia is approx. 3" from the ground. When I need to get an alignment, what my guys typically do is raise up the rack and they stack two rubber 6" blocks that is used to chock the wheels at the front end of the rack. When they lower the rack, the front end of the rack is higher by 12" and this makes the entry angle onto the alignment rack less so the front of the vehicle doesn't scrape. Hope that info helps.

Now go back to the shop and edumacate these guys to think outside the box..
