idk i thought the hardest part was compressing the springs bc of the lip on the bottom it doesnt sit right idk im retarted n this install wasnt fun. If i could do it all over again ide deff pay to get it done lol. I never got an alignment but then again i switched rims alot after it so idk ide get on like a couple weeks after like everyone else saysDest556 wrote:I recently installed Eibachs myself with the help of my Dad and his tools. It's pretty simple with the instructions supplied in the DIY section. Hardest part is aligning the eibachs in the strut.
I went to Firestone, bit the bullet and got the Lifetime alignment... very good investment... I make them re-do my alignment everytime I rotate my tires, change tires, etc... the extra 90 bucks has paid for itself 4 times over already!!!DJBeasy wrote:So I read the write up on the Eibach Pro Kit install in the FAQs, I think I may give it a shot myself. One question...how imperative is it to get an alignment after all is said and done? Definitely necessary or see how the ride feels before throwing out the extra loot?
The Doc is correct. Get the lifetime and save yourself some money. I installed my springs, drove it for an hour or so to make sure everything was in place. Took it for the alignment. Wait for about 500 miles for the springs to settle completely then get the alignment again.rjdmmfl1 wrote:

Congrats bro! (Oh, and on getting hitched too! )DJBeasy wrote:Y Dropping on Saturday, going in to tie the knot Sunday.
Thanks all...
Ha!...I meant to Firestone.Infinite-T wrote:(Oh, and on getting hitched too! )
I did some searching in my area, no one offers it around here except Firestone. The nearest TiresPlus is 55 miles away. The shop that I originally quoted the spring install with wanted $500+ for the drop and alignment...I really think Im going to take my chances with Firestone.boystar22 wrote:There are many other tire shops that offer Lifetime Alignment besides firestone (some cheaper too). I still stand by my hatred for firestone and their services. They damaged my previous car and played stupid about it, and after five separate attempts at an alignment (because I purchased their lifetime) the car never did drive straight until I took it to TiresPlus and had them align it. TiresPlus does lifetime alignment and they've never done me wrong. I think it was cheaper all said and done there too.
